What does date created mean?

The date created refers to the date a cryptocurrency project was officially launched to the public.

Ultimately, every crypto project is unique, which means there may not be much connection between release date and success.

That said, in the case of Bitcoin, some may argue that Bitcoin’s history (since launch in 2009) is indicative of its ability to weather future volatility. Of course, new crypto projects have fresh, innovative ideas for how to deliver a better product or service for individuals, which could be seen as an advantage.
